Halar® (ECTFE) coating: high-performance corrosion protection

Halar® (ECTFE coating) is a technical fluoropolymer known for its chemical resistance and robustness. It is particularly suitable when your equipment is exposed to aggressive environments (acids, bases, solvents) with mechanical stresses (abrasion, turbulence, handling).

At Xtrem Coatings, we tailor the solution to your actual use (chemistry, temperature, immersion, abrasion), then apply the coating using a controlled process, with quality controls.

High chemical resistance

Excellent resistance to numerous acids, bases, and solvents (validated according to concentration and temperature), offering outstanding corrosion resistance. In the semiconductor industry, the Halar® coating is particularly valued for its high purity. It helps maintain contaminant-free environments.

Mechanical robustness

The hardness of the Halar® coating is a major advantage for industrial applications requiring increased resistance to impact and abrasion. This characteristic ensures that treated equipment maintains its structural integrity even in demanding environments, thus extending its lifespan and operational efficiency.

Durability under immersion

In the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, Halar® is used for its exceptional properties in various industrial applications. Its ability to withstand corrosive environments makes it a preferred choice for ensuring process safety and efficiency.

Do you have a specific fluid, concentration, and temperature?

Send us this information: we will tell you the recommended version (Standard/FM/Heavy Thickness) and thickness.

Technical data:
